Explanation of Donations:
As a new and upcoming website there are further expenses that arise to maintain and improve the website over time. Some of these financial aspects are due to webhosting, but most of them are for the ability to maintain and improve the website over time by adding new content, new features, hiring graphics artists, political cartoonists, audio clips, video clips, etc.

To keep adding these features does require a great deal of financial need that we feel would be better met by donations of our readers, rather than requiring a subscription fee to view certain content. The more that people are willing to donate over time, the less liklihood of having to establish a subscription system.

It is our eventual goal to pay for all of these updates through advertisers, but for now it's all going to be an "out of pocket" expense that requires extra funding.
